邱式邦研究员,1911年生于浙江省吴兴县(今湖州市)。1935年毕业于上海沪江大学生物系。1948年,他考取英国剑桥大学研究生,1949年,留该校专攻蝗虫生理。1951年,他以优异成绩毕业,同年10月,他得知新中国将大举治蝗,便毅然归国。邱式邦勤恳朴实,热爱科学事业。五十多年来,他赤诚地献身科学,一直深入在农业生产第一线,对我国多种害虫宵肝图治,业绩裴然。
Qiu type state researcher, born in 1911 in Wuxing County, Zhejiang Province (now Huzhou City). 1935 graduated from the Shanghai University of Shanghai Department of Biology. In 1948, he was admitted to the University of Cambridge graduate, in 1949, leaving the school specializing in locust physiology. In 1951, he graduated with honors, in October the same year, he learned that new China will rule large locusts, they decided to return. Qiu style hardworking simple and honest, love science. Over the past 50 years, he devoted himself to science with sincerity and dedication. He has been deeply rooted in the first line of agricultural production and has done a good job in the treatment of many pests and diseases in our country.
