2001～2008年,对重庆市忠县将军村墓群进行了考古发掘,清理汉至六朝墓葬共计257座。比较典型的5座汉墓中有3座为长方形竖穴土坑墓,2座为砖室墓。出土遗物有陶器、铜器、铁器和铜钱等,以陶器为主。5座汉墓年代为西汉中晚期至东汉时期。该墓地的发掘,为研究当地汉至六朝时期的葬制、葬俗等提供了新资料。
From 2001 to 2008, archeological excavations were conducted on the tombs of General Jun village in Zhongxian County, Chongqing, clearing up a total of 257 tombs from the Han to the Six Dynasties. Three of the five typical Han tombs are rectangular earthen pit, two are brick tomb. Unearthed relics are pottery, bronze, iron and copper coins, mainly to pottery. Five Han tombs dating from the late Western Han Dynasty to the Eastern Han Dynasty. The excavation of the cemetery provided new information for studying the funeral and funeral customs of the Han and Liu periods in the area.
