《关东奇伶唐韵笙》(人民音乐出版社2002年10月版)是现今所能见到的唯——部比较完整记录唐韵笙先生身世和艺事的传记,但是笔者通过阅读发现,作者宁殿弼先生在书中有几处与我了解的情况略有不同之处。笔者曾在北京杨怡超先生的引荐下,于1995年8月24日晚,在沈阳拜访了宁殿弼先生,承宁先生将34万字的新著《戏林拾薪》(辽宁人民出版社1995年5月版)惠赠于我,至今难以忘怀。无论在年龄上,还是在资历上,宁先生都是我尊敬的长辈。但笔者通过10余年来的学习,特别是向关东京剧老前辈请教,或多或少地了解到了一些京剧方面的知识和有关唐韵笙先生的轶事,与宁先生所写的有几处不同。因而笔者本着春秋责备贤者之意,在绝对善意并
