兴安盟林区自６０年代开始引种长白落叶松。调查表明：长白落叶松耐寒耐旱、无严重病虫害；其生长量超过乡土树种兴安落叶松，且受气候影响较小，生长稳定，引种是成功的。
Xing’an League forestry since the 1960s introduced Changbai Larch. The investigation shows that: Larix olgensis is cold and drought tolerant, without serious pests and diseases; its growth exceeds that of the native tree species Larix gmelinii, and is less affected by the climate and has stable growth. The introduction is successful.
