遵照英明领袖华主席抓纲治国的战略决策,在党的十一大路线指引下,在中共中央关于召开全国科学大会的通知鼓舞下,一九七七年十一月十七日至二十一日在无锡市召开了“江苏省焦化企业酚氰污水治理暨N—503萃取脱酚现场经验交流会”。会议由江苏省冶金局、燃化局主持。中国科学院上海有机化学研究所参加了会议的筹备工作。参加会议的共有五十八个单位九十位代表。
