由广东省乐器学会与广州星海音乐学院合办的广州少儿课余音乐学校,从1983年成立至今已招收学生1500名(从4岁到11岁),设中西乐器、合唱等19个专业。其中民族乐器学生(包括拉弦、弹拨、吹奏等)共200多名,大提琴、手风琴、管乐等100多名,钢琴100多名,合唱100多名,其余全都是小提琴学生。学校在广州市各区拥有12个教学点,并开设了基本乐理、视唱练耳、专业课等的个别课及集体课。广州少儿课余音乐学校是目前国内规模最
The Guangzhou Children’s After-school Music School, co-organized by the Guangdong Musical Instrument Institute and the Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of Music, has enrolled 1,500 students (from 4 to 11 years old) since its establishment in 1983 and has 19 majors of Chinese and Western instruments and chorus.
