随着催化裂化(FCC)装置的大型化,主风机、备用主风机的电动机功率也随之增大,石化厂当地电网已不能满足主、备风机的直接起动。鉴于催化裂化装置的特殊重要性,采用负载换相式变频器(Load-Commutated Inverter,LCI)变频软起动成为可靠的办法。但对于技术先进、性能可靠及价格昂贵的LCI的使用却仅限于满足装置开车阶段备用主风机起动的要求。加以优化设计后的LCI可以满足主风机和备用主风机两套机组的软起动,使FCC装置开车和停工再开工的操作更加灵活,提升了机组冗余度,提高了进口设备使用率和附加值,大大节约了生产成本。
