The Research Department of the China Enterprise Management Association recently held a “Seminar on Application of the IE Management Method for Selected Enterprises across the Country” in Dalian. The delegates exchanged experiences in promoting IE and discussed the necessity and feasibility of promoting IE in our country and issues that should be noted. The conference believes that in recent years, China has successively introduced various modern management techniques such as total quality management, value engineering, and operations research from abroad, and has played an important role in improving the level of corporate management. However, the application of a single modern management technique and method does not necessarily mean that the enterprise is integrated.
