TP-801P微型打印机是TP-801单板机专用输出外设,具有造价低、使用方便等优点,因而得到广泛应用。但是它可供调用的中文字符只有24个,所以汉字通信能力很低。若采用图案方式实现汉字通信,主机编程复杂,内存占用量大,而且图案方式给出的字符不能以代码形式随意调用,使用效率低,还做不到汉字与数码同行输出,造成打印格式杂乱。虽然该机为用户提供了89个自定义字库,可用来编写汉字,但受到6×8点阵的限制,实际能编写出的汉字为数极少,无法满足起码水平的汉字通信需要。为此,本文提出组合点阵编写字库的方法。组合点阵编字法,是在用户自定义字库范围内,以6×8为一个单位点阵,四个单位点阵为一个组合点阵,把字库容量扩展为12×16点阵。这样,既能满足
