自從去年八月中央教育部召開的中、小學教育工作會議提出中學二部制的方針以後,中學二部制在全國各地已有相當發展,並已取得一定成績,這是應該肯定的。但也有不少地區,在工作進行中,發現了某些相當嚴重的缺點,其中最主要的是沒有作好學生的課外自習的組織、領導工作。因此,使某些學校,造成了學生成績下降的現象,如瀋陽市伊光中學二年級學生的數學課,在一九五二年上半年作業經常拖拉或有錯誤的是七八個人,下半年竟增至二十人,又統計該校高一乙班上下兩學期的幾何成績,十三個學生中,僅有兩個學生成績略有上升,六名照舊,五名成績下降,(見本刊本期「對二部制中學最大容量的意見」)從調查報告材料中也可看到,共他地區的中學二部制也有類似的情形。這一問題,必須引起我們各地教育行政領導機關和二部制中學負責人的嚴重注意,不然,將大大影響我們中學畢業生的質量。怎樣妥善地解決中學二部制學生的自習問題呢?本刊本期發表的東北、北
