这几年专事游记写作,跑遍了大半个中国,到过许多大城市。天津离我所居住的城市较近,总想放在后边,先尽远处去。不料今年的国庆节前夕,在那里念大学的儿子生病,只得提前先到那里。在天津一住便是半个多月,转了好多地方,接触到了方方面面,给人留下的印象相当好。呆了这么多天也没听到什么大闻、要闻、爆炸性的新闻,总觉得这个城市很平静、很安逸。改革开放中的天津,便是在这种气氛中悄然变化、悄然前进的。
