小学生对几何知识的认识,尤其是对空间观念的理解比较肤浅,不能形成系统的概念,甚至部分学生只能靠抽象地死记硬背来完成学习内容,对知识的内在联系缺乏理解和掌握。在几何初步知识的教学中,加强引导学生借助直观教具,多动手操作,使学生能主动认识几何形体的实质性,发展空间观念,为进一步学习打好坚实的基础,也便于与中学几何教学更好地衔接。
