The 10th Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee recently closed. The meeting reviewed and approved the Opinions of the Beijing Municipal People’s Government of Beijing Municipal CPC Committee on Deepening the Reform and Promoting the Management of Urban Planning and Construction (hereinafter referred to as “Opinions”). The Opinions has deployed 36 reform measures covering all aspects of urban work. Beijing will complete the overall city design of urban sub-centers and the detailed urban design of key areas by the end of 2016, as well as the overall planning of Tongzhou District and relevant special programs.
