王世襄,号畅安,1914年生于北京,祖籍福州。小学、中学在北京、美国学校读书,燕京大学文学学士、硕士。曾任中国营造学社助理研究员,清理战时文物损失委员会平津区助理代表,故宫博物院古物馆科长、陈列部主任,中国音乐研究所副研究员,国家文物局中国文物研究所研究员,第六、七届全国政协委员。
Wang Shixiang, number Changan, was born in Beijing in 1914, ancestral home Fuzhou. Primary and secondary schools in Beijing, the United States school, Yanjing University Bachelor of Arts, master. He once served as an assistant researcher of China Society for Science and Society, an assistant representative of Pingjin District in cleaning up the cultural relics loss in wartime, section chief of the Museum of Archeology in the Palace Museum, director of the exhibition department, associate researcher of the China Music Institute, researcher of China Institute of Cultural Relics of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Seventh CPPCC National Committee members.
