On October 21st, Coty announced that it plans to sell its professional product departments and business operation rights in Brazil in order to reduce the debt pressure, simplify the business structure of the company and focus on the development of core business. Professional product departments of Coty include its professional hair care brands Wella, Clairol, professional hairdressing tool brand ghd and professional manicure brand OPI.
