建筑师档案韦业启为Aedas International(凯达集团)董事局成员、大中华区域负责人,主理Aedas中国业务运作之余,亦参与项目设计及管理,尤其是大型团体设施、基建、高质商业楼宇项目及私人大宅设计。他专注的设计理念在于透彻了解每个项目的设计目标,将其具体落实于作品之中。韦业启的设计涵盖各种类型项目,如总体规划和大型住宅及商业综合发展项目等,分布国内外,获得多个奖项。其中,杭州萧山国际机场2号航站楼,最近更获评为中国人居范例最佳设计方案金奖及获美国建筑师学会香港分会颁发的2010年设计年奖室内建筑优异奖。除作为香港国际机场之香港天际万豪酒店和圣保罗男女中学重建工程的总设计师外,韦业启亦为多个不同类型工程提供设计方案,如港岛某私人寓所项
Architect Profile Wei Yee Kai is a member of Aedas International’s Board of Directors and Head of Greater China Region. He is responsible for Aedas operations in China. He is also involved in project design and management, especially in large group facilities, infrastructure, high-quality commercial buildings Project and private mansion design. His focused design philosophy lies in thoroughly understanding the design goals of each project and putting it into practice. Wai Yip Kai’s design covers various types of projects such as master planning and large-scale residential and commercial integrated development projects, which are distributed both at home and abroad and receive multiple awards. Among them, Terminal 2 of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has recently been awarded the Gold Award for Best Habitat Solution in China and awarded the 2010 Design Year Award for Interior Architecture by the American Institute of Architects Hong Kong Branch. In addition to being the chief architect of Hong Kong Skymark Marriott Hotel at Hong Kong International Airport and the reconstruction of the Men and Women’s Secondary School in St. Paul, Wai Yip Kai has also provided design solutions for several different types of projects such as a private dwelling on Hong Kong Island
