(武汉大学。李四光像。闻一多像) 与东湖宾馆隔湖相望,是美丽的武汉大学校园。 这座已有110年历史的高等学府,原址并不在这里。 1928年,后来成为新中国地质部长的李四光受命担任 国立武汉大学新校舍建筑委员会委员长,选定东湖南 岸的罗家山作为新校址。后来,担任文学院院长的著 名诗人闻一多又将“罗家山”改为“珞珈山”。于是,东 湖之滨就有了这座中国乃至世界最美丽的大学校园。
(Wuhan University. Li Siguang like. Wen a multi-like) and East Lake Hotel across the lake, is a beautiful campus of Wuhan University. This is a 110-year-old institution of higher learning, the site is not here. In 1928, Li Siguang, later to become the Geologist of New China, was appointed as chairman of the State University’s New School Building Committee and chose Luo Jiashan on the south bank of East Lake as the new site. Later, Wen Yiduo, a famous poet who served as president of the Institute of Literature, changed “Luo Jia Shan” to “Luo Jia Shan” again. As a result, the East Lake has this China and the world’s most beautiful university campus.
