1991年初,受北京高校图书馆期刊研究会委托,由北方交大图书馆负责《中文核心期刊要目总览》“铁路运输”类核心期刊的编制工作。经统计测算,分析验证和征求专家意见,最后确认22种专业刊物为铁路运输类核心期刊。下面就《中国铁路》的排序调整做一些说明。该刊按数据排列位于核心刊表第六位,现调到第二位。其原因主要有以下几点。第一,《中国铁路》在三种方法测算的排序表及核心刊表中都位居前列。《总目》编制采用载文量法、文摘法、引文分析法三种方法,分别得出三种排序表,再求出三种排序表中同一种期刊的百分比平均值,重新按递减顺
