上海应用技术学院一直积极进行着高校大学英语课程改革,连续四年不断探索学术英语在理工科学生中的教学,最终针对卓越班旨在培养面向工业界、面向世界和面向未来的具有创新精神和实践能力工程师的目标,在2015年度形成了具有鲜明应用技术特色,以过程化管理为核心的“初级通用学术英语”教学团队。“初级通用学术英语”课程的任课教师团队直接参与了四年间的学术英语教学工作,初步在上海应用技术学院大学一年级卓越班的英语课程建设上探索出了一条能够为锻炼学生实际运用语言的能力、培养学生的英语综合素养、使学生成为具有扎实英语语言基础并能熟练运用英语从事各专业的复合型人才而打下坚实基础的道路。
