河间邢氏系北方旧族 ,其先祖邢在曹魏时仕至尚书仆射、太常 ,有较高的政治、社会地位。其后 ,河间邢氏在政坛上比较沉寂。北魏后期 ,邢峦、邢邵等人才辈出 ,使河间邢氏的声望陡然提高。邢峦以武功著称 ,为北魏开拓西南疆土 ,巩固边陲 ,建树了重大功绩。邢邵是北朝著名文学家、思想家 ,其“神灭论”思想在北方独放异采。邢杲率河北流民举兵 ,震撼了山东大地。从其领导权诸方面看 ,则不宜称为起义
