长期以来,由于化学农药的广泛使用,以致近年来隶属于蛛形纲 Araneae 的螨类为害日趋严重。据美国加州农业局1975年统计,该州当年因螨类为害所受损失达11500亿美元,占各种害虫之首位。我国虽无确切统计数字,但螨类对农作物为害趋势的发展,受害程度的剧增,也已引起昆虫学家和植物保护工作者的严重关注。为了逐步解决这个问题,近年来,国内外正在积极开展有关捕食螨的研究工作,并应用于生产实践。 For a long time, due to the widespread use of chemical pesticides, mites belonging to the Arachnida Araneae have become increasingly harmful in recent years. According to the statistics of the California State Bureau of Agriculture in 1975, the state suffered a total loss of 1.15 trillion U.S. dollars from mite damage in that year, accounting for the first place among pests. Although there is no exact statistics in our country, the development of mite damage trend on crops and the sharp increase in the degree of victimization have also caused serious concern of entomologists and plant protection workers. In order to gradually solve this problem, in recent years, research work on predatory mites has been actively carried out at home and abroad and applied to production practices.
