严遵,字君平,是西汉中晚期蜀地最有名望的隐士和学者,扬雄(前53-18)亦从之学。《老子指归》(又名《道德真经指归》)则是严氏以辞赋的形式解读《老子》的著作,《经典释文叙录》及历代经籍志、艺文志俱有存目。《老子指归》仅存《德经》部份,《道经》部份已经亡佚。现在所能见到的《老子指归》分为两大版本系统,一为仅存六卷三十章的胡震亨(1569-1645)《秘册汇函》本,后来的《津逮秘书》、《学津讨原》、《丛书集成》、《四库全
