2月-5月份是甘薯生产淡季,此时市场需求大,甘薯销售价格较高。薯农意识到这种差价,通过甘薯贮藏能够较大幅度提高甘薯种植的经济效益后,在京郊甘薯产区贮藏甘薯已成时尚。甘薯贮藏期间因薯块体积大、水分多、表皮薄易破损、擦伤而感染病害。贮藏期间甘薯病害主要有黑斑病、软腐病、线虫病和湿害、干害等。发病的主要原因:薯块和薯伤带菌,旧窖传染及薯块受冻、水渍、破伤等。
