Australia changed its Asia-Pacific strategy following Washington's decision to heavily focus on the region.We can see evidence of these changes in political documents such as the Australia in the Asian Century White Paper released in October 2012;the National Security Strategy in January 2013 and its Defense White Paper in May 2013.In June 2014,like his predecessors Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott met with U.S.President Barack Obama during a visit to the U.S..
