中国就业促进会成立四年来,组织建设迅速发展壮大,地方各级就促会如雨后春笋纷纷成立。他们在加强自身建设的同时,积极配合政府各部门,团结社会各界力量,充分发挥社团组织的桥梁纽带作用,开展多种形式的就业服务,特别是当前我国就业受到国际金融危机的影响下,为保就业、保稳定做出积极的贡献。不久前,在全国就业促进会会长秘书长会议上,湖北省就业促进会会长周腊元、安徽省就业促进会秘书长郑成林、成都市就业促进会会长狄进、荆州市就业促进会会长万鹏、如皋市就业促进会会长华国瑞分别介绍了他们做法和经验,受到与会者的高度称赞。为此,本刊特将他们的发言摘要加以发表,以飨读者。——编者
