虎头兰(cymbidium),又称西姆比兰、大花蕙兰,是指兰属中一部分大花附生种类。在亚热带及温带地区广泛栽培。在欧洲、北美、日本、南朝鲜、新西兰、澳大利亚以及我国的云南、贵州、西藏、广东地区均有分布。目前我国栽培的品种多来自野外的原生种类,野生性状较强,观察效果较差。反之,国外的栽培品种则多为杂交后的优良品种,花大色艳,栽培容易,深受各国人民喜爱。下面简单介绍几种虎头兰:
