我国制碱工业的先驱——侯德榜(1890.8.9.—1974.8.26)是中国知识分子的光荣和骄傲。在新中国成立以前,侯德榜为我国制碱工业的创建立下了丰功,可谓声誉卓著,名扬世界,在新中国成立以后,他又为我国化工事业的发展历尽艰辛,作出了重大贡献。值此纪念这位著名学者100周年诞辰之际,通过缅怀他热爱祖国、勤奋上进、开拓创新的业绩,借以激励我们向前迈进。
Houde Bang (1890.8.9.-1974.8.26), the pioneer of the caustic industry in China, is the honor and pride of Chinese intellectuals. Before the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, Hou Debang set a great honor for the founding of our country’s caustic industry. It is a reputable and famous place in the world. After the founding of new China, he also made great contributions to the development of the chemical industry in our country. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the famous scholar’s birthday, by cherishing his love of the motherland, hard work and pioneering and innovative performance, so as to inspire us to move forward.
