我国第一个省、市级水产养殖病害防治机构—天津市水产养殖病害防治中心建成,开始运转。根据农业部渔业局1994年10月17日在天津市召开的“全国水产养殖病害防治网络建设工作会议”确定的在十个省、市筹建水产养殖病害防治中心的精神,由部渔业局和天津市共同投资160万元,在我水产研究所原鱼病研究室和测试中心的基础上组建天津市水产养殖病害防治中心,已于1994年11月17日经市编委津编—字(1994)90号文批准成立,成为我国第一个成立的省、市级水产养殖病害防治中心。在市农委、科委、财政局、水产局等有关部门的大力支持下,经过一年的努力,根据功能要求调整组建了机构。目前下设四个部门,
