我站从1955年冬季以来,先后营造农田防护林482亩,占耕地7%,共建成7条主林带,3条副林带,目前大部份树高7米左右,对改善农田小气候、改良盐碱土、防护、绿化、促进棉粮稳定增产,起了显著的作用。据多年生产实践和科学研究:在林带有效防护范围为树高的15—20倍内,风速可降低24.8—71.3%,
