The enterprise is the main body of the market. With the establishment and improvement of the socialist market economy system in China, the reform of the enterprise system and the establishment of the modern enterprise system, there is an urgent need to cultivate and create a large number of senior management personnel who can familiarize themselves with and control the market economy. Since 1991, the headquarter of the Shipping Corporation’s leadership research group on talent development has conducted in-depth investigations and studies on the status of the current leadership and reserve personnel of the shipbuilding industry; it has also established a process of deepening reforms and establishing a socialist market economy.
