文冠果(Xanthaceras Sorbifolia Bge),属无患子科文冠果属。叶互生,奇数羽状复叶;小叶9—19枚,对生或近对生,长椭圆形至披针形,长3—5厘米,宽1—1.5厘米,边缘为锐锯齿,表面暗绿色,背面光滑无毛。花期4—5月,总状花序,先叶或同叶一起开放,白色具有香气。果实(蒴果)7—8月成熟,果皮由黄绿色变为黄褐色;种子球形,黑褐色,直径1—1.5厘米。种子嫩时白色,鲜美可食。
Xanthaceras Sorbifolia Bge belongs to the genus Sapindus.
