Very often we have only one-sided impressions of masters and works of art. The Musée d’Orsay’s exquisite collection of paintings by Elsevier Art Museum will return to Ossetia only when it is exhibited in Taipei. This is a very rare opportunity. This exhibition, entitled “The Amazing Miller - Pastoral Beauty Exhibition”, has all been exhibited at the Osseuse Museum, displaying more than 40 old photographs of the early days of painting and photographic techniques. One of Miller’s 16 masterpiece, the most precious. In particular, “Gleaning” and “Evening Prayer” two works, known worldwide. Gleaning originated from an ancient agricultural practice. It means that in the autumn harvest season, the poor are allowed to pick up the remaining ears of wheat and ears of corn in order to get enough food and clothing after the harvest, with warm themes, delicate lines and rich colors.
