听写训练是培养学生快速准确处理语言信息能力的有效教学途径,认知心理学认为听写实质上是利用存储在长时记忆系统中的英语言语知识对进入到短时记忆中的语言信息进行再编码并将其输出的过程。学生在听写训练中可能会遇到辨音、记忆、单词拼写、理解等各种问题,影响听写效果。因此,大学英语教师应采取多种方法、选取合适材料来提高听写效果,最大限度地发挥听写这一传统教学方法在大学英语教学中的作用。
Dictation training is an effective way to train students’ ability to process language information quickly and accurately.
