我们烟台市是1984年国务院批准的14个沿海开放城市之一。近几年来,全市各级党组织认真贯彻执行党的对外开放政策,不断改善投资环境,使外商投资企业得以较快发展。到去年底,全市已注册登记的外商投资企业434家,其中开业的183家,实际利用外资1.15亿美元。外商投资企业的发展,给党的建设带来了新的课题。为此,我们根据中央和省委的有关指示精神,从外商投资企业的实际出发,积极探索加强党的建设的
We Yantai City in 1984 approved by the State Council, one of 14 coastal open cities. In recent years, party organizations at all levels throughout the city have conscientiously implemented the party’s policy of opening to the outside world and continuously improved the investment environment so that foreign-invested enterprises can develop rapidly. By the end of last year, there were 434 foreign-invested enterprises registered in the city, of which 183 were opened and the actual utilization of foreign capital was 115 million U.S. dollars. The development of foreign-invested enterprises has brought new issues to party building. To this end, we, based on the directives of the central and provincial governments, proceed from the reality of foreign-invested enterprises and actively explore ways to strengthen party building
