国家自然科学基金委员会为了贯彻落实“十五”期间国家科技发展的总体战略思想,遵循“统观全局,突出重点,有所为,有所不为”的原则,体现基础科学研究的战略性、基础性和前瞻性,着眼今后5-10年科学发展的核心问题和国家长远发展中的重大关键科学问题,结合基金工作的特点和多年资助工作的基础与经验,制定国家自然科学基金“十五”优先资助领域,以推动我国基础研究领域的重大创新与突破,促进新兴学科生长和带动相关学科群发展,为实现我国科技进步和社会经济可持续发展提供知识储备和人才资源。国家自然科学基金“十五”优先资助领域分为两部分内容,一部分是大跨度学科交叉的综合性优先资助领域,以科学问题为导向,突出孕育和推动跨科学部的不同学科和研究领域间的交叉、协作与融合,另一部分是各科学部资助范围内的优先资助领域。详细内容见《国
