随着经济全球化的发展和文化的不断交流,英语已成为社会生活和国际交往中不可缺少的语言工具。从某种意义上说,掌握了英语实际上就意味着把握了参与和发展的机会。我们教师除了要树立全新的英语观和学生观,还要把握好课堂教学,通过课堂教学学习英语的主渠道,把学生培养成具有良好素质的并能灵活地运用学到的知识,有创意地解决各种问题的人才,也是我们英语教师的历史使命。因此,在初中英语教学中,应着重从以下几方面对学生进行培养:
