8月19日上午,全国政协委员、原农垦部副部长张修竹和农牧渔业部副部长刘江等领导同志来到位于北京颐和园东北的中央党校,看望参加普通教育管理学习班的农垦系统全体学员,祝贺他们圆满地完成了学习任务,并向工作在农垦系统教育战线上的全体教职员工致以节日的祝贺,感谢他们在自己的工作岗位上勤勤恳恳,呕心沥血,为农垦系统的教育事业作出的重大贡献! 第三个教师节前夕,北京现代管理学院组织了一个普通教育管理学习班,有来自全国28个省市10个系统的900多名中学教师、校长和教育行政管理人员参加了学习,其中农垦系统就有345人,占1/3强。他们系统地学习了普通教育管理理论,学习国内外先进管理经验。学员们反映,这样的学习对提高基础教育的师资水平及管理水平将会起到推动作用,他们希望以后还能组织类似的短期培训班。张修竹、刘江等领导同志和全体学员合影结束后,还与50名代表进行了座谈。大家畅谈农垦系统教育发展的好形势,交流了教学管理经验,也谈到了农垦系统中、小学教育存在的一些问题。大家认为,农垦事业的进一步发展,就要靠教育靠科学,这就要从基础教育抓起。大家认为,加强教师队伍的建设是搞好基础教育的关键,必须采取措施促进人才流动,吸收优秀人才进入教师队伍,还要通过各种途径培训在职教师,提高师资水平,建立一支优秀的教师队伍,为农垦系统培养出德智体美全面发展的人才。同时,要为农垦系统中、小学教育创造一个良好的教学环境,增加对中、小学教育的投资,提高教师的待遇,使大家都来重视中小学教育。代表们表示,回去后要以实际行动为农垦系统教育事业作出更大的贡献,担负起教书育人的光荣使命,为农垦系统、为社会培养出德智体美全面发展的一代新人。座谈会结束后,我们采访了几位教育工作者,虽说只有三言两语,但多少能给我们一些启示。
