弗洛伊德开始画那些臃肿滞重的人体,应该是他最有体力孤独地注视这个世界的时候。孤独的力量是什么样的力量呢?人极度安静、极度敏感的时候,会有巨大的力量。这广大虚无的世界,孤独才能感知到它的一切,它的具体,它的广大,它的虚无,有意义和无意义。而画家笔下那些臃肿的人体,也是画家的感知,孤独中对世界无望的孤独感知。
