绞股蓝(Gynostemma pentaphyllum Mak)又名七叶胆、锥形果、福音草、小苦药、公罗锅底等,为葫芦科多年生草质藤本植物。全国均有分布,多生于山间阴湿处。以其嫩茎叶供食,可凉拌、炒食或做汤,还可加工成系列保健饮料。因其具有很高的营养保健作用,仅靠野生已不能满足人们的需求。自1995年我们进行了栽培试验,现已获得成功。1 植物学特征 绞股蓝根状茎细长横走,分枝或不分枝,节上生须根。地上茎细长,节部具疏生细毛,叶互生,通常由5小叶组成鸟趾状复叶,两侧小叶成对,着生于同一小柄上,较小。夏季开黄绿色花,圆锥花序腋生;花单性,雌雄异株;花冠裂片披针形,先端尾状长尖。浆果圆形,绿黑色,有1～3粒种子;种子长椭圆形,两面有小疣状突起。花期7～8月,果期9～10月。
