刘德海,祖籍河北沧州,1937年出生于上海。琵琶演奏家、教育家、作曲家,中国音乐学院教授。历任全国政协委员、中国民主同盟中央委员会委员、中国文学艺术家联合会委员、中国音乐家协会常务理事、中国音乐家协会表演艺术委员会副主任。刘德海自幼爱好广泛,中学时开始学习琵琶、笛子、二胡等乐器,表现了突出的音乐才能,并参加上海广播电台业
Liu Dehai, native of Hebei Cangzhou, was born in 1937 in Shanghai. Pipa virtuoso, educator, composer, professor at China Conservatory of Music. Served as a member of the CPPCC National Committee, China Democratic League Central Committee, member of Chinese Literature and Art Federation, China Musicians Association executive director, vice director of the Chinese Musicians Association performing arts committee. Since childhood, Liu Dehai has enjoyed a wide range of hobbies. When he was in high school, he started to study musical instruments such as the pipa, the flute and the erhu. He showed outstanding musical talent and participated in the Shanghai radio and television broadcasting industry
