近年来,在各新闻单位加快改革步伐,加大新闻改革力度的同时,不少新闻界同仁发现,作为新闻界的群众组织,走过了六十余年风雨历程的中华全国新闻工作者协会,在新的历史时期,焕发出青春和活力,正在深化自身改革、转变工作作风、拓展自身职能、加强行业协调等方面悄然发生着一场变革。
