On August 23, TURIN announced the launch of EnFuzion 7.0, a clustered product that brings together the company’s existing Linux, Unix and Windows servers or workstations as supercomputers. Leveraging EnFuzion in combination with current applications and operating environments eliminates the need for specialized hardware and allows users to take full advantage of current network computing resources. Typical applications of EnFuzion are modeling, from risk management evaluation of investment banks to digital cinematic animation and bio-protein modeling. EnFuzion can be combined with existing customer applications to provide per-node status monitoring, allowing cluster nodes to take advantage of idle CPU cycles to automate work schedules. EnFuzion automatically workloads and distributes the existing computing resources through parameterization, dividing the user’s work into discrete parts for parallel processing. This allows resources to process information simultaneously, greatly reducing computing time and maximizing the use of resources.
