地球科学在众多门类知识体系中具有基础性和先导性,不仅肩负着培养地学专才的学术责任,而且负有社会发展和人类生存所赋予的神圣使命。本文根据地球科学的特点和中国发展的时代要求,阐明我国高等院校普及地球科学教育的重要性和亟须性,并就目前地球科学教育存在的主要问题,提出教育改革的措施。
Earth science has foundations and pioneers in many kinds of knowledge systems. It not only shoulders the academic responsibility of training geosciences, but also has the sacred mission entrusted by social development and human existence. Based on the characteristics of earth science and the requirements of the development of China, this paper illustrates the importance and urgency of popularizing geosciences education in colleges and universities of our country and puts forward the measures of education reform on the major problems of earth science education.
