2006年发布的《中国对非洲政策文件》把新闻合作写入其中,使其成为了加强中非全方位合作的重要组成部分。《文件》提出,鼓励双方新闻媒体开展多层次、多形式的交流与合作,增进相互了解,全面、客观报道对方情况。2009年以来,中国主流媒体积极加强国际传播能力建设,对非传播就是其中一个重要方面。在政策的支持和媒体的推动下,近年来我国对非洲国家的传播呈现出良好的态势,尤其是传统媒体与新兴媒体相互促进,多渠道传播取得了良好效果,但同时也存在一些不尽如人意的地方,有必要加强和改进。
