Complex family relations I was born on May 23, 1922 during the Lunar New Year. Place of birth is Xiaoyi County, Shanxi Province, home village. In the late Qing dynasty, he studied Chinese scholar with his uncle and later learned medicine. He was a school doctor in Taiyuan First Middle School in the early years of the Republic of China.
