6月13日,中共中央、国务院在北京召开省区市和中央部门主要负责同志会议。胡锦涛总书记在会上全面分析了当前形势,提出了做好抗震救灾和恢复重建、推动经济社会又好又快发展、筹办北京奥运会等工作的总体要求和主要任务。温家宝总理通报了前一阶段抗震救灾工作情况和当前经济形势,对地震灾后恢复重建对口支援、保持经济发展良好势头等工作作了具体部署。
On June 13, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council held the chief responsible comrades meeting in Beijing for the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and central authorities. At the meeting, General Secretary Hu Jintao gave a comprehensive analysis of the current situation, put forward the general requirements and major tasks for doing a good job in earthquake relief and reconstruction, promoting sound and rapid economic and social development, and preparing for the Beijing Olympic Games. Premier Wen Jiabao briefed him on the earthquake relief work and the current economic situation in the previous phase, made concrete arrangements on the counterpart support for the restoration and reconstruction after the earthquake, and maintained the good momentum of economic development.
