Mr. Gibson is divorcing his wife with his wife because he has been abused for years and is unable to feed his family. To stop his wife from moving to another state with two children, he made every effort to buy an apartment from a bank loan in the hope of gaining custody of the child. But on his way to court, his car was crashed by a Mercedes car. Mr. Barneck, the perpetrator, a well-established Wall Street lawyer, is also eager to rush to court for an important case. To save time, Barneck hurriedly left his name, address and phone number, gave a blank check to Gibson, and rejected Jeepson’s hitchhiker’s request, speeding away. Unfortunately, an important document that Barneck appeared in court was lost at the scene of the accident and picked up by Gibson. The consequence of Gibson’s late arrival is the loss of guardianship of the child, and Barneck, who lost the file, can not win the case. In order to retrieve the documents, Barneck and Gibson launched an endless fighting spirit, almost causing the murder. Retrograde Storm is a rare video that reflects New York’s real life in recent years. Stories warn us of occasional trifles in real life (such as emotional out-of-control) to evolve into necessary events that lead to irrecoverable horrible consequences. The film also reflects the strong contrast between the poor (vulnerable) and the rich in New York and the dark side of the American legal community. Samuel L. Jackson and BenAffleck have excellent performances in the film.
