花滩镇中心小学是四川荥经县规模最大的一所农村小学,始建于1938年,距离县城7公里。学校现有教学班25个,在校学生1173人。全校在职教职工65人,其中,中学高级教师2人,小学高级教师22人,教师学历达标率100%,省、县级骨干教师及培养对象13人,学校教师队伍结构趋于合理,整体综合素质较强。学校占地面积11400m~2,建筑面积7880m~2。教学设备设施配套、齐全,校园环境优美、舒适,是一所理想的学习乐园。
