大学英语教师一直在探索教学模式的改革,并且取得了一定的效果。随着社会不同层次需求的变化,既要培养学术型高精尖人才,同时也要培养实用型、应用型人才,大学英语教学面临着更高的要求。我国高校近几年的连续扩招,高等教育逐步面向大众,使更多的学子有了接受高等教育的机会。随之而来的问题却是学生在英语方面,其知识水平和各种能力参差不齐,严重地制约了大学英语教育水平的提高。大学公共英语教学又是高等教育中一个必不可少的重要的组成部分,大学英语多元化教学模式将发挥其积极作用。
College English teachers have been exploring the reform of teaching mode, and achieved some results. With the changes of social needs at different levels, it is necessary to cultivate highly sophisticated talents with academic talents as well as practical and applied talents. College English teaching is facing even higher demands. In recent years, colleges and universities in our country have been enlarging their enrollment continuously. Higher education has gradually been made available to the public so that more students have the opportunity to receive higher education. The ensuing problem is that students in English, the level of their knowledge and various abilities, which seriously hampered the improvement of college English education. College public English teaching is an indispensable part of higher education. College English pluralistic teaching mode will play an active role.
