On April 8, 2008, the 2008 National Symposium on the Teaching and Activity of Ceramic Arts in Primary and Secondary Schools was held in the Experimental Primary School in Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province. More than 50 representatives from more than a dozen provinces, autonomous regions, and autonomous regions such as Xinjiang, Hainan, Xi’an, Fujian, Jiangsu, and Shanghai gathered to discuss plans for ceramic art education in primary and secondary schools.
